Embedded Web Server
There’s now an embedded webserver and touchscreen enhancements for improved accessibility to the outside world.
Pre-Defined Security Templates
Security is enhanced and easier to deploy with templates – choose from Default, Elevated or High. Saves valuable IT time in configuring security.
Standard Hard Drive
The Hard drive on the AltaLink C8200 series has been improved and the capacity increased. Previously the C8100 Series had a 128GB SSD, the new AltaLink C8200 Series has a 256GB NVMe SSD. More efficient and up to 6 times faster than a standard SATA SSD. Improved performance for data intensive tasks such as AI.
Optional Hard Drive
The AltaLink C8100 Series had an optional 500GB HDD, the new AltaLink C8200 Series has a 1TB NVMe SSD with the same improvements in performance as the standard hard drive when compared to a traditional SATA Drive.
Scanning Options
Scanning to metadata is now possible on the new AltaLink C8200 Series
Enhanced User Experience using AI
The new AltaLink C8200 series uses AI and recognises commonly used features. It can not only predict and suggest what task to use, it can suggest and build a workflow shortcut based on your everyday jobs.
It will even remind you while you are setting up a job if you forgot to use a one touch that you have already set up.

What things are the same on the AltaLink C8200 series and the AltaLink C8100 series?
Same consumables
The AltaLink C82xx Series takes the same drum, toner and other consumables, so we can probably assume that the print engine is the same.
Same outer casing and colours
The AltaLink C8200 Series uses the same panel colour as the previous AltaLink C81XX series.
Same model code suffixes
The AltaLink Series codes differ in that the last two numbers denotes the A4 page per minute speed.
